Janine and I were so thrilled when we got these figurines as gifts from our mother. We just loved the colours. I have been doing some research in order to find out what species these birds are. Based on pictures and information in one of my bird books I am wondering if they are figurines of Hoopoes.

they are really neat, judy! so wonderful that they were a gift from your mother. my mom has a lot of books on birds too. she has been getting angry at the squirrels because they are eating the bird food she puts out. lol!
