Question Time

Every weekend I will have a blog post where I ask and answer questions.  It is a good way for readers to get to know more about me and also help me to get feedback on a number of questions. Do you collect anything?  If not, what would you collect given the opportunity?  During our high school days my twin sister and I collected postcards and stamps.  Over 20 years ago we started collecting bird figurines which grew into a huge collection.  I do not see myself starting another collection but if I did it would be clocks. I love clocks!
As usual I am participating in Friendship Friday hosted by Create With Joy where this week the theme is Catharsis. Nature has a way of lifting my spirit so today I share my poem titled Finding Peace Amidst Nature which was one of the early posts when I started this Blog.

I don't collect anything now, and I can't think of what I'd want to collect. I've got too much stuff now. I need to simplify.

Have a fabulous day. ☺

Thanks for your feedback Sandee. Enjoy the rest of your day.

Journeys of The Zoo BlogLovin Hop wasn't mentioned in your list :)
http://www.journeysofthezoo.com/2013/04/bloglovin-linky-thursday-april18.html. You sure are busy.

I don't really collect anything as much as I "amass" things. I have a bunch of buttons, stationery, sewing machines (yes!?). I'm sure there are more. If you want an accurate account, ask my husband :)

I don't collect one particular thing, but I do buy a lot of stuff that strikes my fancy that has kind of morphed into what you would call a collection- cookie cutters, nail polishes, ect.

Clocks would make an awesome collection! They are an artwork all of their own!

Thanks for your feedback Theresa. Have a wonderful weekend.

I like to get a coffee cup from wherever we visit special. Our last trip was the first time ever one got broken on the way home. It was bubble wrapped, but still didn't make it. We also try and get an ornament for the tree if we're on vacation or visiting someplace unique. I'm always amazed that we find one, no matter the time of the year.

Happy weekend to you!

I am sorry that the cup you bought broke on your last vacation Rosey! It must be interesting having items from the places you visit. Have a great weekend.

I use to collect Angels. Then it got to the point that all I had was Angels everywhere including on my clothes, and I had a Clock too that has the face of two little Cherubs. That's in my office right now, but I finally said ENOUGH! Goodness I think having too much of one things is just over kill. So now I'm down to only my favorites. I love antiques I shall never give that hobby up. Have a great weekend.

I once did a report for school on Seahorses. I found them so fascinating that I would collect anything with a seahorse on it. I have a pair of earrings with seashorses on them. >:)

I know what you mean Marie. I have my bird figurines in a display unit that is overflowing now. I get a few bird figurines as gifts but I have not bought any figurines in a long time.

Hey, I just found your site from the pimping hop. Hey, I'm a twin(sister) and we are fraternal. Sorry about your loss, it would also take me a long time to heal if I lost my twin. Anyway, I'm not a collector because my hubby would have a fit. He is minimalist.

Thanks a lot Sheila! I will follow back.

So neat that you and Janine collected postcards and stamps! No doubt that your bird figurine collection is incredible! :) I don't mean to, but I seem to collect jewelry. My mom laughs at me and tells me I have enough to cover the world. I love it.
Such a pretty poem... I remember when you shared it.
Sending love and wishing you a happy, peaceful day, Judy! Xoxox
