Bird Figurine Series - #18

What is your biggest wish for Christmas? It is okay to wish for all sorts of things but these days my biggest wish is to experience peace perfect peace.  What do I consider to be peace? The ability to feel a level of tranquillity notwithstanding the blows I have faced in life.  Yes, the inner strength that enables me to keep on keeping on, holding on to my faith and trusting in God always.  As I look at these beautiful dove Christmas decorations received from my wonderful blogger friend Maria I say a quiet prayer.  May you find peace in your life this Christmas.

Wow! Those are beautiful! I love the set!

My wish: Just to feel loved a little. Actually feel it, as oppose to know that my children love me. I know, but just to feel it. If that makes sense.

Thanks a lot Colette! What you have said makes a whole lot of sense. Have a wonderful holiday season.

The ornaments are beautiful. I could decorate my whole tree with those.

World peace is what I would wish for. Things are so awful around the world of late. Too many fighting for God knows what.

Have a terrific day. :)

Thanks Sandee! Oh, it would be so great to see world peace! Have a good day.

Hiya! Popping over from the Aloha Friday blog hop. I love your beautiful decorations. I am grateful that my kitchen renovation is finished and I don't have to wake up to the sound of hammers and a very loud radio! Pop over and say hi

I too want to experience that peace that surpasses all understanding. This has been a difficult year for my family and we have weathered the storm. At one point I did experience at a time that I least expected it. If I can capture that feeling again and take it into the New Year, I know everything will be okay.

I have a blue one similar to those. I love anything that glitters/bling-bling! My wish is for my children to remember to forgive & forget. I wish everyone could get along and remember that right or wrong they're still blood, and first & foremost family should be No. 1! I hear about that so often in families. Happy Holidays & have a great weekend.

Judy Haughton-James said...

Thanks Xmasdolly! Beautiful thoughts on what you wish for. Have yourself a wonderful holiday season.
