Spot The Bird!

Janine and I have always had pictures of birds among our collection.  In the meantime I have considered taking pictures of birds some day. It has been difficult to get close enough to any bird but I managed to get some of the Cattle Egret.

Great shots too Judy. We have lots of egrets at our marina. We love to watch them catch their dinner.

Have a terrific day. :)

Thanks Sandee! I never thought I would get any shots. They noticed so quickly whenever I tried to get close. I am glad I finally got these pictures! Take care and enjoy the rest of your day.

Very cool photos of the egrets. They are harder than most birds to photograph. You did a great job. I'm sure it took great patience on your part too.

We love the egrets. We used to have one that would watch the kids feed the fish and then do his fishing right there. It was pretty amazing. Great shots.

You're right. It's hard to take pictures of birds, like it is with wild bunnies(I tried and failed miserably) It's so green, I'm jealous with so much rocks and naked red land around here! Have a beautiful day Judy.

Thank you very much Dave! It certainly demanded a lot of patience. At times I wondered if the bird had eyes in the back of his head!:) Take care.

Hi Maria,
It is always so good to hear from you. Thank you very much for your kind comments. I worked hard to get these pictures and was really happy to get some!:) Yes, it is bright and green. We have been getting rain. May is a rainy month here but we have had a lot of sunshine over the past 3 days. Take very good care of yourself. I am heading off to bed now and of course when I say my prayers I will definitely be saying some special words for you. I wish you and Steve a lot of happiness. Take care until next time.
Love & Friendship always,
Judy

There is just something about the egrets.

I love bird watching too. Too bad I don't get to do it often enough but we get such excitement to run to the door and watch the birds with my kids :)

This kind of birds live a lots in my countrysides, they are called herons. Very lovely birds, only come to find fish but it's hard to get near of them.

Unknown said...

Hi futures trading,
Yes, they do love the countryside. I live in a rural area of Jamaica. They are indeed herons with the most familiar species here being the Cattle Egret. Take care and have a good day.
