They Must Be On My Wall! - Creative Monday Blog Hop

      Show me an item featuring a bird and I am always so thrilled. Many persons know that I am a big bird enthusiast and of course they include relatives.  I was so happy when I received a package containing 2 beautiful embroidered birds made by my cousin Marlene in Massachusetts.  I could display them in several ways but immediately I decided that I would get them framed for my living-room wall.

   I have never seen a cardinal in real life but I think it is such a beautiful bird. I have cardinal figurines and have seen pictures and cards featuring this bird. Now I have a picture of a cardinal on my wall!

    
   Blue is my favourite colour so it is great to have a bluebird picture. In addition the bluebird is associated with happiness and I certainly need a good dose of that!

Creating Bird Pictures - Creative Monday Linky

    I live on a farm in a rural area of Jamaica where I get to see a lot of birds. It has always been my wish to capture pictures of birds but I was hardly able to do so as once I go too near the bird would fly away. Well, I got out my digital camera book and found the feature that could bring an object nearer.  While it did not cover too wide a range I managed to capture several pictures of a small bird. I then went to work with PicMonkey and created these bird pictures. With spring approaching I hope I will have even more luck in capturing pictures of birds.

They are still there!

    I am here doing everything to conquer the flu. As I sit quietly my eyes drift to this door with pictures of beautiful birds. Some time ago I had a post where I indicated that old calendars don't go to waste at my home.   My twin and I decorated this door over 4 years ago. We used to put up new ones every year. However they still look bright so I have kept them up. Of course they bring back good memories of time shared with my twin.

     Janine and I have always had pictures of birds among our collection.  In the meantime I have considered taking pictures of birds some day. It has been difficult to get close enough to any bird but I managed to get some of the Cattle Egret.
