August 6, 1974 - we drove from Kingston to Port Antonio and stayed on Navy Island for the weekend. From our little spot on Navy Island we watched fireworks in the town of Port Antonio to celebrate Independence Day.
Thanks Sukhmandir! The meaning of the colours are as follows: Black - the strength and creativity of the people, gold - the natural wealth and beauty of sunlight, green - hope and agricultural resources.
