Bird Figurine Series - # 48

We have been experiencing some windy days and I say " Blow wind blow and cool me down as long as it is not a storm or hurricane!"  Another thrill is to hear this Scarlet Macaw chime.  I have had it for many years. Janine and I always moved it to different places at our home just to hear the chimes!

I hope the storm won't be bad Maria. I am hearing the wind chimes at this moment. We are getting a lot of wind here. It is so hot that we welcome it and of course I am enjoying the sound of the chimes!:)

I love wind chimes too! Funny, I saw a real bird really similar to that one out in my garden yesterday. Such gorgeous colours. I ran inside to get my camera and just snapped a shot in time before he flew away, but when I looked at the photo, I realised that the camera had been set to black and white mode!!

It is great that you were able to see a similar bird in your garden yesterday Liz! It is such a beautiful bird. I am sorry that you were not able to get the picture in black and white. Hope he visits again soon. I really love wind chimes.
