Question Time

Every weekend I will have a blog post where I ask and answer questions.  It is a good way for readers to get to know more about me and also help me to get feedback on a number of questions.  Do you have a sweet tooth?  Yes, but the strangest thing is that if sweet things are not around me for a very long time I can do without them.  However if they are in my home I struggle to keep away from them. Nevertheless there are times when I eat so much and no more.
As usual I am participating in Friendship Friday hosted by Create With Joy where this week the theme is Children's books.  What are your favourite books from your childhood?  The Bobbsey Twins Books.  Who is your favourite children's author? Laura Lee Hope, the author of these books.

Oh I have thought of The Bobbsey Twins in years. Great choice and I loved anything by Judy Blume and the Babysitter's Club, too. Can't believe the weekend is coming now and hope you have a great one!!

Nope I don't. I can do without dessert anytime. Rarely do I have dessert and if I do it would probably be ice cream.

Have a terrific day. ☺

Ice-cream is usually what I have as dessert Sandee. Today I had some rum and raisin ice-cream with cake!:) Soon I will take a break though. I just have to make sure they are kept out of the house! Enjoy the rest of your day.

oKAY First Yes I guess I do have a sweet tooth, but it's only for ice-cream. That is so my downfall in my diet. hehehe Now my question for you is are you the smiling twin or the grin one? Out of your header there is one twin that shows teeth & one that doesn't was wondering which one are you? Have a great weekend my friend.

I've heard of them but not read them. I had so many favorites as a child that it's hard to choose. Beverly Cleary, SE Hinton, Dr. Suess, Judy Blume. I really could go on.

Today I like Laura Nuemeroff for the wee littles. Her books are funny and the illustrations are too.

I am also a big fan of ice-cream and even tried a no sugar one recently Marie. Janine is the one with the big smile. That certainly helped us to tell the difference in many pictures!

Thanks for sharing your comments Rosey! There are some other books that I used to read but I can't remember the names of the books and authors now. Age takes its toll! LOL

Thanks for linking on my Make My Sat. Sweet and leaving a comment! I can see why you would like books about twins, being a twin yourself. I always wanted to have identical twins, because I used to read the Sweet Valley High books and found it so fascinating. I never did have twins. Once again, I'm sorry for your loss of your twin sis.

I read the Bobbsey Twins too! Along with all of the Nancy Drew's and Trixie Belden. My Mom had all the books from when she was growing up, so it was like a built-in library at my home.

Hi my favorite book was Nancy Drew. I read all of them in middle school in late 70's and early 80's. It was the original series available at my school library. Did you know Carolyn Keene was a pen name and the serial edior paid various writes to write the books?

Unknown said...

The Nancy Drew Series were so popular Mary. Thanks for the information about the author. Laura Lee Hope was also a pseudonym used by the author of the Bobbsey Twins.

I am the same way! I don't think about sweets unless they are around. I wish I could avoid it when I see it too! :) Have a great Sunday!
