Question Time

Every weekend I will have a blog post where I ask and answer questions.  It is a good way for readers to get to know more about me and also help me to get feedback on a number of questions. Do you have pets?  I have always had pets and over the years they have been dogs. At this time we have 6 dogs! Yes, 6 dogs!
As usual I am participating in Friendship Friday hosted by Create With Joy where this week the theme is This Land Is Your Land. 1.  Which country are you from?  I am from the Caribbean island of Jamaica and have lived here all my life. 2. How much of the country have you visited?  I have visited most of the parishes. 3. Which part of the country you would like to visit next?  I would like to visit Negril. It is on the other side of the island from where I live and has several miles of lovely white sand beaches.

Thanks for joining us for Friendship Friday Judy! I have visited Jamaica twice - I SO love the Caribbean! I have been to Ocho Rios and to Negril. My visit to Negril was cut short due to plane troubles (we arrived late on a 3 day weekend) but my first time travelling out of the country was to Ocho Rios. I climbed the waterfall and parasailed for the first time in your beautiful island nation!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Greetings from the UK!

I found your blog on the Linkin with my Ladies hop.

I have never been to Jamaica - we were due to go there on our honeymoon 3 years ago and the volcano grounded our flight :( My husband's family are from Jamaica and we still have plans to visit someday soon.

I look forward to reading more from your blog.

Have a great day!

Thanks Serena. I will follow back. I am sorry that you did not get to spend your honeymoon in Jamaica. I note that your husband's family is from Jamaica. I hope you get to visit soon. Have a wonderful weekend.

Wow, 6 dogs. That's a lot, but oh so fun. I'm sure you enjoy each and every one of them too.

Yes, we have one dog, named Little Bit. She's our last baby as after she passes we are going to travel. We stay pretty close to home now as she's getting older and wants us with her at all times. We do our best to do that too.

Have a terrific day. ☺

So you have a dog Sandee. All the very best to Little Bit. She is one lucky dog. Take care and enjoy the rest of your Thursday.

I didn't know you live in Jamaica! My husband and I LOVE it there. It's so beautiful and although we've been all over the island, we're partial to the white beaches of Negril.

I'm stopping by from the Friendship Friday blog hop. :-)

Okay here's a funny for you! So you're from Jamaica right? Well, as you know my silly hubby is in a band, and do you know what they did to Rolling Stones song BROWN SUGAR? They made it to a reggae beat! Now I love reggae just as much as the next fellow, BUT... BROWN SUGAR??? LOL You know what though it sounds great. I'll have to put it in a Post some day for you to hear or if you go to You Tube check it out at Designated Riders on You Tube! LOL Let me know if you cannot find it and I'll get a link for you. Have a great weekend my friend. Off to get dirt for my vegetable garden. I'm so excited. Haven't had one for a few years, but my son is going to help me! hugs, Marie

Thanks a lot Coco. I hope you get to visit Jamaica some day.

Hi Marie,
I note that you love reggae music. It is interesting that your husband's band has turned the Rolling Stones song into a reggae song. I would love to hear it. I will let you know if I find it. Take care and have a wonderful weekend.

You have my admiration! 6 dogs is quite a challenge I imagine, but I am sure quite rewarding. I have 3, and some days they drain all of the energy I have lol.

Hope you have a great weekend Judy!

You are right Theresa! The dogs certainly demand a lot of energy! Have a wonderful weekend.
