I am also participating in Friendship Friday hosted by Create With Joy where this week the theme is Something New. When is the last time you did something new? Over the Easter weekend I came up with a new idea for potato salad which I will share on my next Creative Monday Blog Post. Is there something new you would like to do this season? I would like to try some new recipes and start using a laptop instead of a desktop. I will get my first laptop this weekend!

I don't text much. I am an English teacher and feel the need to write complete words in complete sentences, so it takes me a long time to send anything.

I don't have a cell phone, but if I did I would disable texting. I haven't a clue what half of that poor English means. I don't care to either. Great question.

I used to hate sending text messages, but got a new smart phone so they are much easier to write out now. I do like sending them for a quick question instead of being tied up in a long phone conversation!

I have 5 grown kids who all text a lot so I have learned to do it as well. I have an English background too but I don't mind cutting corners while texting! Have a great weekend and thanks for linking up at NanaHood!

I'm always texting, I like the convenience of it when I don't feel like having a long conversation with someone but my phone is very annoying and it takes forever to text a complete sentence, unfortunately my life is filled with people who will text rather then calling.

I like texting more than talking on the phone! I can say what needs to be said without getting stuck in a conversation that I don't have time for. My texting language depends on who I'm texting. I'm an English teacher, so if I need to set a good example, I do. However, if it's a family member or close friend, text lingo it is! I prefer to make phone calls too. I rarely send text because I don't have time for that. It's easier for me to call up somebody than sending texts messages.

I don't text that much, but I do think they can be good for a quick question or something, yet don't like long or full conversations. I do abbreviate a bit, but not nearly as close to what people/teens do these days.

I love that you are a phone person. I used to love talking on the phone to friends. We could stay on for half a day. Lol. I love to text and am known to send the longest text messages ever. :)

I gave up texting for a while and you would be amazed at how much less I talked to some of my friends. I was forced to put texting back on my phone, seems a lot of people are addicted! lol:)I am a new blogger, like your page. Might try and take a pointer or two. :)
