Question Time

Every weekend I will have a blog post where I ask and answer questions.  It is a good way for readers to get to know more about me and also help me to get feedback on a number of questions. Today I answer Question 5 asked by Jamie from Love Bakes Good Cakes who passed on the Liebster award to me. What's one thing that other people do that drive you nuts? When they ill-treat human beings and animals.
I am also participating in Friendship Friday hosted by Create With Joy where this week the theme is Preferences.

1.What do you prefer: Printed Books or E-books?  I prefer printed books. There is nothing like the smell of a book and turning those pages. Nevertheless I have come to appreciate E-books and have read good ones.
2. What do you prefer: Desktop Computers, Laptops or Tablets?  Over the years I have had only desktops but hopefully I should have a laptop in the near future. One thing for sure I will be able to move around easily with a laptop!

Oh this list is so long. Where does one start.

1. Lie
2. Steal
3. Cheat
4. Be cruel to any living thing.

Great question.

Have a terrific day. ☺

Definitely the things that also drive me nuts Sandee! Enjoy the rest of your day.

I love how book stores smell! I can remember that from when I was a little girl. Going to book stores was one of my favorite things to do! I hope you have a great weekend,
Theresa

I agree with you, Judy. I can not stand to see people and innocent, sweet animals be mistreated. I just don't know how anyone could hurt an animal. Steve just got us a desktop for our office and though we are used to using our laptops, it is a nice change. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and answers with us. I hope you're having a relaxing night!
Sending lots of love xoxox
Enjoy your weekend!

That would be such a hard question for me to answer. Being a wife of a law enforcement officer there are so many things that people do that irritate me. I hear stories that just make me want to scream!

Thanks a lot for sharing your comments Maria. I am eager to find out what using a laptop is like after many years of only using a desktop. It is great that you also now have a desktop. I hope to have a good weekend and wish you, Steve and Beano a wonderful weekend. Lots of Love, Friendship and Best Wishes always.

Hi Judy! Great to see bloggers from all around the world, including Jamaica. I went there a few summers ago and it was gorgeous. I think you're the first blog I've ever visited based out of there. Looks like you have a great community going on here ... and I would love to participate in the weekly Q&A. How do I submit? Just in the comment section?

Thanks for joining our blog hop! Look forward to reading more about you:)

I still appreciate the fact that one can easily read so many Ebooks and at a very cheap rate or even for FREE but I can't compare it to a printed book. Having a good book on my hand is like holding a treasure. I LOVE printed books.

Thanks a lot for your feedback Nekky! Have a great weekend.

Look like you and I agree--I definitely prefer books-where you can turn the pages and put a bookmark where you left off--Desktops are much easier for me to use--I need a keyboard and a mouse--that rolling ball just does not cut it and the keyboards are too small!!

Thanks for your feedback MikiHope! Have a good weekend.

I agree, I love the smell of books! :)

Thanks for your feedback Joyce!

I'm also a printed book lover. I understand it's easy having a kindle to carry aroudn with you. But nothing beats crawling into bed with a good book that you can actually turn pages.

I'm a new follower from one of the blog hops. I hope you have a great weekend.

Thanks Raven! I will follow back.

I've answered Create With Joy's question on my blog, so I will answer yours here.

I cannot stand to see people take advantage of the innocent or weak - especially children, women, and animals.

Lately I've been reading about the violence against women in India and have come across movies that touch upon the female sex trade and it just hurts my heart.

How can some people just have a complete disregard for the wellbeing, feelings or humanity of others?

I did answer printed books for the first question BUT I will say - I don't like the scent of old books...and as much as I LOVE going to this mega used book store in town...I always come away with a red rash on my arms (probably dust mites bites?) so I have this thing with dust and old books...I don't like to touch them. Other than that...I am a book hoarder.

Thanks for your feedback Claire! Have a good Sunday.

Unknown said...

Thanks for your feedback Yona! It is really terrible how badly some human beings are treated. I have to stay away from old books as I am allergic to dust. Take care and have a good week.

I have not tried reading on an e-reader yet but would be handy for travelling. We have a netbook and an ipad as well as a desktop pc and the portability of the smaller ones is nice.

Thanks for your feedback Tara! Have a good week.
