Favourite Ham Glaze - Creative Monday Linky

Baked ham has always been a big favourite for my family over the Christmas and New Year celebrations. While there are a number of ways to baste a ham this is the one that we use:
Method
1. Squeeze the juice of 3 oranges
2. Add a cup of  brown sugar
3. Add 2 teaspoons of grated ginger
4. Boil the above for 15 minutes
5. Baste the ham with this mixture

If you eat ham over the holiday season what do you usually use to baste your ham?

That looks and sounds very good.

We usually don't baste our ham with anything. I get the spiral ham and just eat it plain. Everyone prefers it that way. I'd like it try it your way though.

Have a terrific day. :)

Hi Judy,
This sounds like such a yummy recipe. I'm very fortunate that my husband is the one that cooks our fabulous holiday meals. I'm embarrassed to say I have no clue how to make a ham. eek. Thank you for the recipe.

We usually use pineapple and brown sugar to baste our ham with, but the orange and ginger combo does sound really good!
