Baked ham has always been a big favourite for
my family over the Christmas and New Year celebrations. While there are a
number of ways to baste a ham this is the one that we use:
Method
Method
1. Squeeze the juice
of 3 oranges
2. Add a cup of brown sugar
3. Add 2 teaspoons of grated ginger
3. Add 2 teaspoons of grated ginger
4. Boil the above for 15 minutes
5. Baste the ham with
this mixture

That looks and sounds very good.
We usually don't baste our ham with anything. I get the spiral ham and just eat it plain. Everyone prefers it that way. I'd like it try it your way though.
Have a terrific day. :)
Love the sound of this Judy,I need to try this over Christmas :) thanks for co hosting...

Hi Judy,
This sounds like such a yummy recipe. I'm very fortunate that my husband is the one that cooks our fabulous holiday meals. I'm embarrassed to say I have no clue how to make a ham. eek. Thank you for the recipe.

Thanks for sharing all of your wonderful recipes! I hope the weekend has been good to you and that you are enjoying your night, Judy! Sending lots of love to you and your family! Xoxox
