Sausage & Macaroni - Creative Monday Linky

When a hurricane hits and you do not have electricity you have to use tin foods. That is exactly what I did when we were without electricity for 12 days following Hurricane Sandy. Here is a recipe using a tin of sausages:

Ingredients
Macaroni
Tin of sausages
Hot Pepper Sauce
Tomato Ketchup

Method
1. Boil macaroni for about 20 minutes.
2. Drain and add hot pepper sauce or blackpepper.
3. Add about three tablespoons of tomato ketchup.
4. Cut up sausages in small pieces.
5. Fry in cooking oil until brown.
6. Add the sausages to macaroni and mix together.
7. Serve Hot.

Thank you for the party Judy
I'm a vegetarian, so this dish is not for me, but my other-half (=hubby) can eat it everyday LOL
Simple food - that's what he likes :)

Thanks pinkoddy! Unfortunately my area of Jamaica was among the hardest hit. Anyway the recovery efforts are in progress.

Hi Maria,
A good Monday and week to you. Twelve days certainly felt rather long!:) I had to find ways to cope with different tin foods. Not easy at times! We had a lot of rain and flooding in parts of my parish over the weekend. I hope we get a lot of sunshine today. Take good care and Lots of Love, Friendship & Best wishes to you,Steve and Beano!

Hi Colette,
Things are coming along but unfortunately we experienced very heavy rain over the weekend that led to serious flooding in the capital of my parish. Take care and have a good day.
