Bird Figurine Series - # 10

Janine and I were always fascinated by the colourful Rainbow Lorikeet.  Over the years it was often featured on the many Australian postcards and calendars that we received from pen-pals and relatives. You can therefore imagine how thrilled we were when we got this wonderful surprise, a figurine of the bird, from our Australian cousin Christine.

How pretty! It kinda reminds me of my lorikeet feeding experience in Currumbin, Australia. The birds were so colorful and friendly!

Happy Thursday, Judy!

Just beautiful! It reminds me of our trip to Belize. We were able to see all kinds of gorgeous birds...and even feed them. Hope you're doing well :)

Hi Judy: What a beautiful bird... what did someone call it a figurine? I call them nik-naks, which I'm a total nutcase over nic-naks! Guess my mother did that to me. She loved the dolls from George Washington Days me I just like anything different. I also have a brass collection & like I said anything different. Have a great weekend!

I love how it's head is angled. Figurines I've seen usually don't have style like that!
