Judy H-J's Thoughts - A Twinless Twin. Jamaican Freelance writer on a healing journey after facing loss. Here I share memories, hobbies, interests, pictures and much more.
This figurine became a part of our collection in the early years. I still remember that Easter trip that Janine and I took to the popular tourist resort of Ocho Rios. While shopping we could not resist this hen in a basket!
I just read a post you wrote for francescawriteshere about grief and I have goosebumps. I am an identical twin, and know the special bond twins share. I am so sorry for your loss of your twin, and also other close family members. This is a beautiful chicken figurine, and it is wonderful that you have such lovely memories with your sister. I wish you all the best in life.
Thanks for stopping by housewifeinheels and sharing comments. I really appreciate it. I am happy to hear that you are one of identical twins. Twins certainly have a strong bond. Take good care and have a wonderful weekend.
The name of your blog caught my attention right away--twinless twin is a phrase I haven't heard in years but at one time knew so well. I gave birth to twins and one died shorty after--my daughter is now a twinless twin. Nice to find your blog. I'm your newest GFC follower from the weekend blog hop. Would love it if you could visit my site and follow back via GFC! Thanks for sharing!
