Special Little Thermometer

As I think about the many favourite things that my twin and I had over the years I must include this little thermometer which came all the way from Japan about 30 years ago. My twin and I would check it often to see what the temperature was especially when it was very hot or cold.  After all this time it is still giving me accurate temperature readings. It was about 28oC when I took this picture.

So it must be 82 degrees for those of us that go by Fahrenheit. Nice and warm.

Very pretty thermometer too. How did you get it from Japan? Pen pal?

Have a terrific day Judy. :)

Hi Sandee,
I am here smiling because it took some time for me to get used to Celsius and now I am hardly mentioning Fahrenheit. Oh yes, a Japanese pen-pal sent us the thermometer. Take care and enjoy the rest of your day.

Such a cool little vintage thermometer. You don't see many of those types around anymore.

I'm big on weather and checking temps all the time.
I'm glad it can bring wonderful memories of Janine and you whenever you see it! I know you said it is hot, so I hope it is cooling down for you! :) it is around 90 here today. Not too bad.

Hi Maria,
It is another hot day here. In my area it is in the 80s. However the weather report says we will likely get some rain later on. It will definitely cool things down. Thanks for your comments about my little thermometer. I have so many things to remind me of the times spent with my twin. I really treasure those memories. As always I am sending a lot of good wishes your way. Keep the faith and wonderful spirit. Take care and have a great Tuesday. Lots of Love & Friendship always,
Judy
