CHERISHED MEMORIES NEVER DIE!

I am very happy to participate in the link party at A Dance For 5 where one shares cherished memories.  It is good when one has wonderful memories that live on. Last Sunday was not the easiest day for me as I celebrated another anniversary of the death of my twin. I thank all the persons who supported me with comments on my post, Facebook, phone calls, emails etc.  What has also helped me through difficult times was the fact that I can remember all the good times I had with my twin. I wrote about this in an article which was published in the Summer 2010 Digital online edition of  the American publication, Twins Magazine.  It was one of the early posts on this Blog and was titled TREASURED TWINSHIP MEMORIES.

Judy this is a very beautiful post. I always wish your twin is still alive. But like i always say God knows why he separated you two. May her gentle soul continue to rest with God.

Thanks May. I wish Janine was still around but I pray for strength and never question God. Although we only had 46 years together we had such a good time that it seemed longer!:) Take care and all the best to you.

judy, i just read the post you included that you wrote in march. brought many tears to my eyes. all that you wrote of the bond you and janine shared...the memories and special things you had in common, that nobody else could understand the way the both of you did...
all so touching.
it makes my heart ache to read of the pain you go through and i pray for your peace. and again, i'm so happy you live your life with such remembrance, strength and honor for your sister and loved ones.

our 2nd loss was the toughest in many ways out of the five. we lost twins that time and didn't find out there were two babies until after our loss. it is the pregnancy i've had the hardest time dealing with.

thank you for all you share. you are an inspiration.
wishing you love and peace

Hello Maria,
Thank you so much for your comments. I am so sorry to hear that you have lost your babies 5 times including twins. This must be really difficult. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your husband. You are such a kind and wonderful person. From your Blog I see how well you interact with friends, their children etc. I pray that you will be able to have a child and be the great mother that I am sure you would be. Take very good care and keep smiling and fighting on. I admire your spirit. We can gain strength from each other on this journey. Take care and cheer up my friend. Lots of love, friendship and best wishes coming your way.

Judy - Your posts about your sister are so beautiful and touching. I am not a twin, but I have a sibling. While the feelings may not be the same for a brother than a twin, it is a still a family member and I don't know what I would do if something happened to him. Congrats on getting that article published.

I look forward to reading more (I came here via the blog hop).
