Question Time

Every weekend I will have a blog post where I ask and answer questions. It is a good way for readers to get to know more about me and also helps me to get feedback on a number of questions.  Which song or quotation helps to lift you spirit when you feel down and out? I am asking this question as my first cousin Kay Davitian died last night.  One of my favourite quotations is:

Where songs are concerned I like  "I Look To You' by Whitney Houston and 'You Raise Me Up" by Josh Groban.

As usual I am participating in Friendship Friday hosted by Create With Joy where the theme this week is Blogaversary. How long have you been blogging? I have been blogging for over 2 years. What was your first blog post about? A poem about the twinship that my twin and I shared. What is your favourite topic to blog about? The hobbies and interests that my twin and I had over the years. How many blog posts have you written?  I have published  497 blog posts.  How has blogging changed your life? It has helped me to focus on the good times that my twin and I shared and this has been an important part of my healing process. It is ironic that I am answering these questions at a time when I again face loss of a relative.

My prayers are lifted up on your behalf. I'm sorry to hear the news of the passing of your cousin. I love the quotation you shared and it is absolutely the truth.

I don't know that I have a particular song that helps to lift my spirits, but music in general will do just that.

I have been blogging since 2010. My topics for the most part are random tie bits of every day life. I think I have composed over 1000 posts to date. Blogging has changed my life some. It has given me a new avenue in which to meet people with the same passions while giving me the creative outlet needed.

Have a good weekend and be blessed!

I like so many songs. Music in general lifts my spirit. I guess it all depends on the mood of music.

This too shall pass.
I believe that is how life is.

Happy weekend!
