Question Time

Every weekend I will have a blog post where I ask and answer questions.  It is a good way for readers to get to know more about me and also helps me to get feedback on a number of questions.  Do you mind reading a novel more than once?  I don't like reading a novel a second time but there are some inspirational and non-fiction books that I can read over and over again. Chicken Soup For The Soul's Devotional Stories For Tough Times is a book I have read twice and would have no problem reading again. Speaking of Chicken Soup for the Soul, I am so thrilled to be one of the winners of Create With Joy's awesome giveaway of Chicken Soup For The Soul's 20th anniversary edition.  The book has arrived and I can't wait to start reading it!

As usual I am participating in Friendship Friday hosted by Create With Joy where the theme this week is Fall.  What activities do you look forward to each Fall?  Here in Jamaica we do not get to see trees changing their colours as in other countries. I like to view pictures of breathtaking Fall scenes in other countries. As the days grow shorter, are you impacted by Seasonal Affected Disorder?  Not really. I like when the days are longer though. Do you have any favourite  Fall Recipes or crafts you would like to share?  I look forward to drinking Pumpkin Soup at this time. Where crafts are concerned come late September/October my twin and I would crochet a lot - centrepieces, three peace table sets and runners.  I have not crocheted any thing in a long time.

I'm so glad your book arrived! Like you, I am much more likely to read inspirational, non-fiction over and over again (although there are a few good stories out there I never tire of!)

Have a fabulous week and as always, thanks for joining us for Friendship Friday!

Congrats on the win!

I don't generally like to read a novel over, but there are a couple of exceptions (The Count of Monte Cristo & Great Expectations come to mind).

I don't know if you can count Stephen Covey a novel, but I read his books more than once. I like books on motivation and inspiration, I read those more than once. I think chicken soup series fall into this category. I would read the chicken soup books again and again. :-) Have a wonderful weekend. Thanks for linking at Thursday Two Questions.

I read them once and then I'm done. I just can't reread something.

Have a terrific day. :)

Once I know the story and the ending I don't want to read the novel again Sandee!:) Enjoy the rest of your day.

I don't like to read the same novel more than once either, but I do agree, the Chicken Soup books are definitely worth a second look!

Have a great weekend Judy!
