I AM CELEBRATING!

Well, we are now in the month of December and that means Christmas is near and Hip, Hip, Hooray, the hurricane season is over for this year. The hurricane season is from June 1 - November 30 in my part of the world.
Janine and I faced the weather conditions of storms and hurricanes while we were together and I am yet to experience one without her. The first and worst hurricane that we experienced was Hurricane Gilbert in 1988. In an earlier post titled FACING WILD WINDS TOGETHER I shared this experience.
I hope today you have several reasons to celebrate!

Thanks Candice! It is really good to have had a quiet season here. I had tense moments when relatives etc. were affected in the U.S.A. Take care and a wonderful time to you, G and J!

It is indeed time to celebrate. I can't imagine being in a hurricane. We have earthquakes here and I'd rather have them than a hurricane.

Have a terrific day and weekend. :)

A rather scary experience indeed Sandee and it does not only last for a few seconds or minutes. We have earth tremors here but I never seem to feel them. Take care and I also wish you a good weekend.

Judy, I love a reason to celebrate!!
I love all the memories you bring back to life!! Yay for no hurricanes!!
When Steve and I visited in October 09', people warned us we might not have great weather. That was NOT the case. It was perfect and never too humid either!!
Wishing you much more beautiful weather in this new season.
I hope this weekend brings you much to smile about!! Thinking of you and sending lots of love!!

Hi Judy. I haven't witnessed hurricanes here in my place or I've never caught one in person. But really hurricanes are like twisters right? They can eat and displace houses and humans in a wink. Merry Xmas in advance. =)

Hello there Itin,
Always good to see your comments. Hurricanes are rather destructive and quite frightening especially in the hilly areas. The winds seem so fierce. I also wish you a great holiday season. Take care and have a good weekend.
