Work At Home Pursuit - Review

In recent months I have linked up with several persons on LinkedIn.  Among them is Angel Andrews who has a website titled Work At Home Pursuit. This site certainly lives up to its tagline - A Source For Everything Work At Home.  I like the comprehensive coverage of  a wide variety of  work at home opportunities, jobs, posts and resources.
When one works at home one often needs someone, something and somewhere that give us that inspiration to keep on keeping on.  Furthermore there are certain realities that one has to take into consideration. I find that this site fulfills these needs therefore I  recommend it.
A wealth of knowledge flows from persons who are actually living the work at home life.  If it is your dream to be able to work from home whether full-time or part-time you will find helpful advice and inspiration.
When Angel asked me to write a guest post for this site I readily agreed and wrote an article titled Join Me In The Blogging World

Blogger Networking

I have read about bloggers attending blogger conferences and sharing the wonderful time they have had meeting other bloggers, learning more about blogging etc. I am yet to have such an experience.  In the meantime I have been learning a lot about freelance writing and blogging by attending webinars. This is quite new to me. I am glad that I now have an internet service that can give me such an opportunity. I like the idea that one can join in and share views and ask the hosts questions. Some of the more recent webinars that I have joined were those given by Jon Morrow, Sophie Lizard, Laura Leigh Clarke, Carol Tice and Sharon Baker. I found them to be informative and inspirational.

Have you ever attended a conference for bloggers or a webinar?  If so, what was the experience like?

Thanks a lot to Miranda who has a blog titled Purely By Accident for becoming a sponsor of my blog.  My very best wishes to you Miranda.

Myrabev is my blog name and I was born in 1987 in Zambia. I have two siblings, male and female, who  are both younger than me.

In 2004 December we moved to the UK for better Education and a better life in general. I finished my high school in England, went to college and finally university.

I have now graduated from the university of Hertfordshire with an  Honours degree and I  work for an American pharma company.

I have a partner whom I met on-line almost 6 years ago and we've been dating ever since and plan to get married soon.

I am now a YouTube vlogger but I only do it randomly. I started writing my blog to pass time as I moved to a new town for my job and did not really have friends down here but now I am really enjoying it!!!!!

Question Time

Every weekend I will have a blog post where I ask and answer questions.  It is a good way for readers to get  to know more about me and also helps me to get feedback on a number of questions.  At what time of the day do some of your best blogging and freelance writing ideas come to mind?  While they come at different times of the day many come at night time when I am about to fall asleep.  Unfortunately at times I am too tired to get up and write them down and sometimes forget a few by the time I wake up.

As usual I am participating in Friendship Friday hosted by Create With Joy where the theme this week is Summer Fun. Do you prefer to be indoors or outdoors on  a hot summer day? I prefer to be indoors.  At times the heat is unbearable outside.  Pool side or park picnic - which invitation sounds more appealing?  Pool side!  I can't get in the pool  though as I can't swim! :) What summer activity do you dream of the most? Visiting certain areas of Jamaica and seeing nature beating the heat. Earlier this week I got a chance to be in the popular tourist resort of Ocho Rios. I enjoyed seeing all the beautiful flowers and environment. I also did some shopping.

Question Time

Every weekend I will have a blog post where I ask and answer questions.  It is a good way for readers to get to know more about me and also help me get feedback on a number of questions. This week's question - Why did you start a blog?  I started blogging in March of 2011 as part of my healing journey in coping with the loss of my identical twin sister Janine. I saw it as a way of not only expressing my experiences but also focusing on the many interests, hobbies etc. that my twin and I shared. It has further helped me to cope with yet another loss, the death of my brother Sutcliffe in 2011. Through blogging I have learnt to find peace in nature walks, photography and so much more. In other words it is therapeutic.
