Question Time

     Every weekend I will have a blog post where I ask and answer questions.  It is a good way for readers to get to know more about me and also help me to get feedback on a number of questions. Today I answer Question 5 asked by Jamie from Love Bakes Good Cakes who passed on the Liebster award to me. What's one thing that other people do that drive you nuts? When they ill-treat human beings and animals.
     I am also participating in Friendship Friday hosted by Create With Joy where this week the theme is Preferences. 

1.What do you prefer: Printed Books or E-books?  I prefer printed books. There is nothing like the smell of a book and turning those pages. Nevertheless I have come to appreciate E-books and have read good ones.
2. What do you prefer: Desktop Computers, Laptops or Tablets?  Over the years I have had only desktops but hopefully I should have a laptop in the near future. One thing for sure I will be able to move around easily with a laptop!

Bird Figurine Series - #26

        Janine and I have always been fascinated by hummingbirds and were always thrilled to see the national bird of Jamaica, The Jamaican Streamer Tail Hummingbird. For a long time we rarely saw him and I can remember the last time when we were so surprised to see one perched on our veranda gate. Oh how I wish we had our camera nearby.  We have always wanted to have figurines of this bird in our collection. To date it is not yet in the collection but happily I have items featuring it including the candlesticks below.

              Well, I could not have such a huge collection without some hummingbirds.

Anyone who has lost someone knows how difficult it is to cope and I am glad that in various ways I have been able to share how I have faced this challenge. Today I answer Question 4 asked by Jamie from Love Bakes Good Cakes who passed on the Liebster award to me. When you were young, what did you want to be when you grew up?   I was always interested in working with media and ended up being a Freelance Journalist and writer.
   I am also happy for the first time to be participating in Friendship Friday hosted by Create With Joy.
