Question Time

     Every weekend I will have a blog post where I ask and answer questions.  It is a good way for readers to get to know more about me and also help me to get feedback on a number of questions. Today I answer Question 4 asked by Jamie from Love Bakes Good Cakes who passed on the Liebster award to me. When you were young, what did you want to be when you grew up?   I was always interested in working with media and ended up being a Freelance Journalist and writer.
   I am also happy for the first time to be participating in Friendship Friday hosted by Create With Joy.

Bird Figurine Series (Valentine's Day) - # 25

     February 14 is celebrated as Valentine's Day around the world. It has become more popular with each passing year in Jamaica.  Of course while some persons celebrate in a big way there are others who consider it to be just another day.  If one has reason to celebrate by all means have a great time. I thought it only fitting that this week I feature bird figurines that give a message of love with a heart on them.  I also love the message on one of them "Love finds a home in the heart of a friend."  Happy Valentine's Day!

Gizzadas - Creative Monday Linky

    I am from a tropical island and many coconut trees can be found here.  I love the flavour of  coconut and from time to time buy food items that contain it. A few days ago I ate some Gizzadas, a Jamaican coconut snack. Question Time

I have never travelled abroad but my favourite place to visit here is the popular tourist resort of Ocho Rios.
