Glass figurines have always been among our favourites so Janine and I were thrilled when our mother told us that we could put this one with our collection. It was a gift she received from a friend over 35 years ago. Mom knew it would be safe with our birds.

Absolutely beautiful! I've always loved these kinds of figurines. I can't have them in my home right now - a four year old who loves to touch everything makes breakables unwise. But someday, I hope to own beautiful things myself.
